Lord, Rekindle my Fire (Part 2)
If truly you are the messiah for your generation, you need to rekindle your fire. If you are the one to deliver your generation; if you are the one your generation is looking up to for their welfare; if you are the one who possesses the key to give freedom to those in bondage; if you are the pillar that will support your generation; if you are the umbrella for your generation; indeed, you need to rekindle your fire. If your fire is quenched you won’t be able to achieve any greatness. If your fire is dead you will not be able to walk according to how it is written; you can’t be a fulfilled person; you and your offspring will be living down-graded life. You need to rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit in you.
All fire carriers are free from all forms of hindrances: no diseases will tie them down; enemies hardly harass them. You need to rekindle your fire. Let your fire glow continually. “Ina lo need o. Ina Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya! Ya!”. When your fire is glowing well, your life will be meaningful; impossibility will not be your trading stock; no one will be able to stand in your way; you will be unstoppable; wilderness will turn into an highway before you; you won’t be fed with foods in your sleep; anything you lay your hands upon will prosper; your heart desires shall hardly be denied. All those that are fire carriers in the Bible never have labour-loss.
First Kings 17:1, Elijah said: “There shall not be dew nor rain three years.” And according to the word of Elijah, the heaven was shut. Later, in 1 Kings 18:41-44, Elijah prayed to the Lord: “LORD, rekindle my fire,” repeatedly for seven times; thereafter the heaven was black, and there was rain. When your fire is rekindled, every negativity in your ancestral home will give way for you to walk into your glory. Your doors to greatness will open for you, because nothing can dare your fire and not get destroyed. All those who carry fire in the Bible have nothing to obstruct them. When Paul and Silas were arrested (Acts 16:22), they were beaten and cast into the prison. At mid-night (Acts 16:24L26), they prayed and sang praises unto God, asking Him to rekindle their fire. Suddenly, there was fire from heaven, and instantly, all the doors were opened and everyone’s bounds were loosed. In the morning, a message was sent by the Magistrates to Paul and Silas that they have been set from. But now, Paul being emboldened by the fire insisted that it should be the Magistrates themselves who must come to release them openly.
If you rekindle your fire, a transformation will come over your life; your life will shine as it is written; if you are down-trodden, your life will have a lifting; as you knock the doors they shall be opened; you shall not be shrouded around with cobwebs. When Jesus was ascending into heaven, He instructed His disciples to stay in the upper room of a building until they were endued with the fire of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2:1-3, it was reported that while they were all together, suddenly there came from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. When they received the fire, mighty works started to be wrought. At a point, the Priests and sons of Levi threatened them not to preach Christ anymore. They boldly ignored their threats, claiming that they were reporting the truth about Christ as they were witnesses, and that they could not be gagged. And as they prayed, the place where they were assembled together started to shake and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
In conclusion, beloved, if you want to live your life as it is written; if you wish to accomplish your mission on earth; if you are ready to clothe your generation; you need to ask the Holy Spirit to rekindle you. When the fire of the Holy Spirit embers on you, your enemies will disappear; you will be delivered from nightmares; you will be delivered from eating in your dreams; and your life will be accelerated for achievements. I am a sure witness for you; I sight fire more than six times daily. The fire empowers me; it makes me unstoppable. If you have this fire, you can walk fearlessly without an escort; you will access one power and another for your use; the fire will invite God to be on your side; the LORD will be your Shepherd; danger will avoid you; when you speak the heaven will establish it; wherever your feet touch the LORD will possess it for you; people shall be looking for you to bless you; all the people shall be praying with the name of your
